OUR 2011 EXTRA VIRGIN OLIVE OILS
The Extra Virgin Olive Oils produced this year are once again exceptionally stunning - the chemical analysis carried out on the oil has resulted in some very pleasing results, a result we feel is due to the care and devotion given to the health and well-being of our trees and grove.
2011 Pendolino/Leccino
This is our "signature oil" which has been awarded medals each year since the start of production in 2004. It is a robust oil with an aroma of olives and cut grass, it has a flavour of rocket & watercress with a lingering pepper aftertaste. Available in 500ml bottles & 1 litre food grade tins.
2011 Frantoio/Leccino/Picual
The 2011 release of this blend is less intense than in previous years. This oil is reminiscent of green salad leaves, it is smooth, grassy & buttery with a delicious hint of pepper. Available in 500ml bottles, 1litre food grade tins and 100ml picnic size bottles.
2011 Lemon Infusion
An infusion of frantoio/leccino olives pressed with lemons which is an absolutely stunning oil - a citrus/olive taste sensation. Available in 250ml bottles only - SOLD OUT (but there may be one or two bottles left in Moore Wilsons)
2011 Chilli & Lime Infusion - BE IN QUICK!
A leccino,chilli & lime infusion which will add real zing to asian style dishes or to have just simply with bread as a dip for a taste sensation. Available in 250ml bottles only. At a recent tasting we were told by one of our customers that this is the best olive oil ever and promptly put 3 bottles in his trolley which could explain why this oil is never on the shelves for long!
